| 03.23.1999 | okay now back to normal updates. i added a top100 performance link at the bottom of this page and in the links page. could you guys go to it after you view my page? I hope if i can get high enough in that maybe this page will receive more hits. that would be nice to get other people seeing our cars. and yes i am gonna try to do something so all the sites can sort of stay together. btw what ever happened to the one page becoming a stanza registry? i would love to see that done. |
| 03.22.1999 | wow what a week. last week was finals and i barely got any sleep. damn that was horrible. now i am working 3 hours a day to make some extra spending money. finally my rims should be arriving in the store wed. can't wait to drive with them. though i am unsure of the size. i was told that 215/45r16 would be a better fit. but i would rather have a lower profile tire. hmmm choose 205/40r16 and screw with my mileage and stuff and probly have a bigger gap in the fender wall or 215/45r16 and be correct. it looks as though i will be going with the bigger tire. i wish i could see a picture of the difference on the Stanza. is everyone annoyed with the way i am typing on the site? my girlfriend said i should stop typing in all lowercase. but to me it look so much better. damn i better start changing the layout of the page so it is easier to view. any suggestion on a site i could mimick to make this a better place to browse? i will slowly be updating and doing stuff, maybe scanning some more pictures. did you hear? the new bleem came out btw. i will put it up in the downloads page. |
| 03.10.1999 | okay well the week before finals has hit and i am still trying to get prepared for my ten page paper due friday. and today is wednesday. yikes. yesterday i found out that the rims will be getting to me the 24th so that day of course will use a roll of film, process and scan the pics so you guys can see what 16inch rims look like. Since i think only 1 other stanza has rims. oh yeah check out this mix i wanna do. but it's very rough since i just started to learn how to use sound forge on the computer. anyone on here know how to use it? here is the file please e-mail me and tell me what you think. sample.mp as usual rename this to sample.mp3 |
| 03.04.1999 | damn i feel so sick after eating at the cafeteria. and supposedly last year it was one of the top college cafeterias. haha. well i just was going through altavista and found another stanza web page. i added it to the newly made links section. can anyone give me better ideas on how to make the page look? i think i will put the animated girl at the top. still waiting on the damn rims and i saw a friend yesterday who said he might be able to get me a greddy muffler for around $300. it's sad since his prelude he was gonna enter into the import showoffs got stolen a week before. he is from Asian Speed Racers (ASR). His car was nice. |
| 02.28.1999 | wow haven't updated in a few days. btw as long as i can access the internet i will be trying to update at least 2 times a week, if not more since i always am at the computer because of the dorms connection. i added a message board a few days ago and only 2 people besides me have posted come on people. also since i know many people are finding the page because of bleem and ultrahle i decided to put a downloads page so they know those programs actually do exist on this page. okay now about the car, i have enough money for the rims and still waiting. in the meantime though i am trying to decide on what else to get. i am researching legal/illegal exhausts preferabbly the muffler since i already have a 2.25inch pipe when i had a dynomax muffler. also i might be looking at a touring spoiler. and last i really wanna put an lcd screen in my sun visor to play playstation on. i have seen this done but have never been to a shop that had screens. any help would be appreciated on any of these things. prices, legalities, installation anything please. thanks |
| 02.24.1999 | forget it, i decided against moving the site as of now. since i would rather use xoom since i can upload using the ftp. anything you guys wanna see on the site? e-mail me. also i am in the process of getting a new caliper put on since my brake system was close to not working. what a hassle but by friday i should be able to use my brakes, they are getting fixed at the nissan dealer since they were amazingly cheaper than another repair shop plus they found some stuff another shop did wrong, go figure. during the week i am going to be playing around with the site to make it more attractive. any suggestions on this? |

okay well i am just gonna switch the site to the infoseek site. this will take me some time since it seems that you need to do all the html on the site and you can't upload html to it. the address is http://homepages.infoseek.com/~teamfaction/ i guess i am sick of using dzracing since it was sort of a joke and now i am getting a very good amount of hits for such a little site. those 630 at the bottom about 100 are from me. and i turned it off from logging me which is making me happy how many people are visiting. though i am sure the main reason is for the bleem emulator. haha oh well. if anyone has any experience with infoseek can you e-mail me since i really don't wanna copy and paste pages in. so give me about a week for the switchover. to the stanza owners. be sure to get into the registry that the other page is gonna start. the link is in the update below. i would love to get all the stanza owners into a big site so we can all share and maybe get somewhere to make parts for the car and get better discounts if everyone orders. btw what kind of engine do the cars have on them? | 02.19.1999 | wow i actually found another site that is about the nissan stanza. here is the site just in case anyone is interested. http://users.cwnet.com/ryoohki/stanza/ okay welp it was my birthday this last tuesday and that was nice and relaxing. but i was sort of stressing about taking my smog test in 2 days. after they tested the car they looked all around and were trying to figure out why it didn't pass. finally they told me someone messed with my timing and upped it by 5 degrees. damn it pissed me off and they charged my $30 to change it back and test me again. so at least now i know i can pass smog with the cone filter. yippy. next up i want to get a greddy/trust exhaust. all i can say is never get any part without the carb exemption number. the guy working there seemed to know his stuff and was telling me to stay away from non exempted mods. and guess what i am still waiting on the rims. damn i need new tires so badly. i gotta take some more pictures and scan them in. i have been seeing some sweet cars finally driving around campus. if anyone can head me to other stanza related web sites please e-mail me. |

infoseek has homepages for people with unlimited space. i am going to try
to put all my graphic files on that server and see what happens. this would
be great. otherwise i might switch the page over to that server since i
would love to have that space. but i think linking the files should work.

| 02.11.1999 | i called discount tires today to see if they got the rims in. they are backordered for sure until the 2nd week of march, but the guy called the main office manager and he is gonna find out if any of the stores in Southern Cali have them in their showroom. i should know by tommorow, friday. so i am crossing my fingers. anyone have a suggestion for a new layout i should do? also i need help using photoshop. is there any easy way to cut circles out of pictures? |

| 02.09.1999 | i am going to put some pictures of my car up, like the engine (what little there is done to it), and the outside after lowering the car last year. mycar pictures. also putting up the pictures with my new white headlights. i just realized that's it's hard to tell so i will show a picture next time side to side with a normal cars lights. but notice how these do not look blue and are very legal as far as i can tell. |

| 02.07.1999 | okay i just found out the rims i am getting are backordered until the end of february. great and also they are not racing hart but the brand is called racing hikaris, stupid salesman. so when i get the rims at the end of the month i will take some pictures and develop the film with my lights and rims and scan them into the page. last weekend my hard drive crashed so i am still getting back up, but i am gonna put my ftp server address up right now of rap mp3's. 128.195.214.137 dzr/dzr |
| 01.30.1999 | on my routine trip back from jack in the box i saw way too many police cars. there were 3 in a row at the first stop light i encountered. then while driving there i saw at least 4. then to top it off on my way back to the dorm i saw over 10 police cars, 1 had stopped someone most likely for speeding. jeez the uci police department sure has nothing to do. i love how safe the city is, though the amount of cops is a bit ridiculous. |

| 01.20.1999 | just got stopped in the uci middle earth parking lot for my lights. though it was funny because the copy proceeded to check my lights asked where i got them from and said they were blue. then i told him they were pure white and he looked confused. so then he asked me to turn on my high beams and turn signals. after this he looked really confused and said don't drive like that because the chp might say something about it. then he said he wouldn't mess with me and let me go. now this is really weird because the lights look pure white and then compared to the other lights they look yellow. i wonder how legal these lights are if i just did not get stopped by irvine police. i gotta say though he was the friendliest policeman i have talked to which is a big plus in my book for the city i would like to live in. |

| 01.15.1999 | coming back from south coast plaza around 8pm my girlfriend and i were exiting the freeway onto culver and guess what wanted to race? an integra gsr. it must have been my new pure lazer white vision lights that got his attention. =) interestingly enough i kept up pretty nicely with it. i did not beat it but stayed within 1 car length. we got to about 80mph before i slowed down because my tires are so bald. this is when i realized that since i need new tires why not get rims. now i need to figure out if i should get 15 or 16 inch rims. the ones i want are racing hart hikaris. |
| 01.06.1999 | i replaced my blue headlights with vision lazer white lights. boy was dynamic autosports right in saying they look like h.i.d. they look pure white and are totally legal. just like the ones on newer mercedes. not blue like on lincolns and gs400's. i definately recomend these lights since they do add a bit of originality to the car. |

| 08.04.1998 | i gotta thank the cops for stopping me for going 95mph in a 65mph and in turn getting my exhaust and blue headlights changed. And the judge and CHP don't recognize newer cars with HID headlights which shoot blue. |
